Loren vacuum your carpet
Then sprinkle salt on it preferably overnight
Then vacuum again next day put more salt down
Do this daily for a week as the salt will kill the fleas
But fleas hatch at different times that’s why you need to do it for at least a week
And make sure you empty or throw away the vacuum bag if you have one
Then clean your carpet to get rid of the smell of pets
Once cleaned you can still put salt down until your sure they are all gone

  1. Buy scented flea powder for carpets, or spray. If you no longer have animals you can also try sprinkling your carpet with cayenne pepper, leave it overnight a vacuum in the morning.

  2. Try using diatomaceous earth!

Diatomaceous Earth is an all natural insecticide that works well to kill crawling insects such as fleas. It can be sprinkled in the cracks and crevices around the room and left to kill the fleas. Once you are finished, simply vacuum the powder up.
