Hoover Bagged Upright – Kenmore 31150 Elite Bagged Upright Vacuum

I had a Dyson for a few years and when we bought a new house the carpet pile was a little bit higher than the old house and the Dyson did not do a good job at all. It’s unfortunate it didn’t have a carpet height adjustment. It would push some of the small pieces of lint or paper in front of it and did a really poor job of getting up the dog hair. 🙁 I have a dog that sheds so I needed something that would tackle the dog hair. I loved my Dyson when I first bought it but knew I needed something different so I purchased the Kenmore Elite. I love it! It’s a little heavier to push than the Dyson but it does an amazing job on the carpets. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and would never buy anything but a Kenmore vacuum again.

Here goes…Had my carpets cleaned the other day and the cleaning company asked me what kind of vacuum cleaner I used. I told them a Dyson and he said it wasn’t enough to keep my carpet clean, that I needed to upgrade to a more powerful vacuum cleaner. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. With all the dander and hair my carpet was a mess and he could tell just my walking into my house. To say the least I was shocked to hear my expensive Dyson wasn’t doing the job but I had to admit, it never really did but I kept it because I spent so much money on it. First thing, I wanted to see what Consumer Report had on vacuum cleaners. Low and behold they did. They recommended the Sear Kenmore Elite as their number one choice but the price was again up into the $400 range. So off I went to find it cheaper, hence the SearsOutlet.com. I’m so glad I purchased this vacuum. It picked up every animal hair on my couch, carpet and crevice. It has such a powerful suction that I can’t vacuum my throw rugs. It lifts the carpet pile up and you can see the difference immediately. The only con, the hose is too short other than that this is a great vacuum. This weekend, I’m using it on the backseat of my car where the dogs sit. I have high hopes I’ll have a hairless car.
