I have an older model FoodSaver machine. The bags are so expensive that I looked into using a generic brand. Are the generic brands the old saying "you get what you pay for" or are they truly just as good and cheaper because they don’t care the expensive FoodSaver label?
Sometimes the generic brands are not quite the same quality, but they are perfectly good and will do the job. If you can find generic bags that fit, then I would use them.
