I got one with a bag from Wal-mart for around that price, and it works pretty well for us. I think it’s a Dirt Devil brand.

eletrolux will do it perfectly. and in affordable price, you can find it in hardware store. there’s a lot of hardware store in a city. you can compare price from different store.
You won’t find much for new in that price range.
Check out an upright Dirt Devil. They may be that inexpensive and do work fairly well. Otherwise, you may want to look for a used unit that still looks and works well.
Kenmores are the best, but in your price range a Hoover will work.

I believe that you are looking for a compact vaccum. check wal-mart. besides eureka (which I really like) They offer several brands in your price range.
