Where can i find the vacuum that suck air out of the bags! ?

Does anyone know the name and where can i find the type of a vacuum that sucks air out of the bags with clothes; I have alot of clothes that i need to seal and minimize so i can travel? Thank you!
I will be traveling by car, so those storage bags would not bother me.
I saw the commercial for this vacuum with the bags on tv a while ago, so i thought, someone might know where i could find them and stuff.Thnx.

  1. If you get the storage bags you can use any vacuum with a hose. You don’t need a special vacuum you need special bags. The bags can be found on line or in places like Kohl’s and they’re pretty cheap-like $20 a box or something.

  2. It’s not special. Use any vacuum you have. They don’t actually sell a vacuum because they assume you have one at home. However you won’t be able to use one as you travel. Those bags are intended for storing clothes not for traveling. Since they are charging for baggage now most people are seriously cutting down on what they take to travel anyway.

  3. Get a heavy garbage bag and put your folded cloths in it. Take any vacuum with a wand ( tube) and put into the clothes . Have some duct tape handy. Turn on the vacuum ( you might need to reposition things a few times ) when the air is removed you should have a smaller volume of clothes. Pull the wand out while twisting the bag and make a seal. duct tape it so it stays .

I used the described method to shrink some bedding I wanted to ship and the box wasn’t big enough. It worked fine.
