I took it to the only dealer here and he cleaned it (he said) charged me .00! It still smells. I have tried to contact the company. Changed out bags. It makes my closet smell. I live in an apartment. SOS! Any suggestions?

Sprinkle some carpet fresh on the carpet & vacuum it up. I do this once in awhile for the odors in my vacuum.:)
Use a friend’s vacuum to clean it out really good and maybe fabrize the fabric bag really good.
They also make beads that can go into the bag to help with smell. OR use a powdered carpet freshener and vacuum it up. that could also help. our vacuum always smells like the carpet freshener.
