Various Vacuum Cleaner Models For Home and Office
Article by Ramsi
Vacuum cleaner is one of the most important tools that should be present in every home. Before electric vacuum was invented, cleaning was a tedious household task. During those times, you have to do the manual cleaning such as brushing, mopping and sweeping the floor.
If you have a carpet, it has to be removed from the floor, beaten to get the dust out and hung up outdoors. You can just imagine the time and effort involved, plus the health hazard by doing such things.
Earlier models of floor devices are non-electric and have made cleaning much easier. Since then, people have relied so much on the use of the machine to help keep their homes free of dust and dirt.
Over the years, vacuum cleaners have improved as man continues to find ways on making work easier and faster while getting quality results. The history of vacuum cleaner shows that there have been significant improvements made on the machine.
In 1900s, the very first electric vacuum cleaner was developed. The Hoover Company created the first vacuum powered by electricity in 1908. It comes with several attachments and has a filter bag made of cloth.
Later that year, many different types and models of various sizes, suction power, performance, and other features were developed. To date, the upright vacuum cleaner is still the most popular among the types and models of vacuum appliance, which came out in the market.
The latest models of upright vacuum cleaners available in the market are lightweight and has various attachments which you may use to clean small spaces, upholstery, drapes, and hard to reach areas. This type of vacuum also comes in both bagged and bagless designs.
With the bagless vacuum, you do not need to run to the store and buy vacuum bags from time to time. It uses a dirt container to collect dirt that enters into the vacuum, which you can empty it to the trashcan once it is full.
You have to throw the collected dirt from the container in the garbage can in your backyard or outside your house to prevent the dust and dirt from getting back into your house.
On the other hand, the vacuum cleaner that uses bag is recommended for those who suffer from allergies as it stores the dirt and dust in a disposable bag. When the vacuum bag is full, you can seal it and throw it away without exposing yourself from dust and dirt. The only drawback of a bagged unit is that you always have to buy a vacuum bag for replacement.
Keeping your home clean and dirt-free is not actually a heavy task as long as you have the right machine to do the job. If you do not have a vacuum yet and you plan to buy one, it is important to choose the best vacuum that fit your cleaning needs.
