I’m making bread & butter sweet pickle and dill pickle.Instead of canning (alot of work) Can I vacuum seal them?

I just don’t like the idea of sealing in plastic. When you pack pickles, you don’t need to can in a pressure cooker or even a hot water bath. The vinegar used in making pickles creates a high acid solution. You can go straight from the pickling process to packing in sterilized jars. I like the idea of glass over plastic much better.
All you need to do is boil the jars and lids for 15 to 20 minutes to sterilize them, and then pack and seal.
