I’m referring to those storage bags where you suck out the air with a vacuum. Also, I wonder if the items you compress come back to their original state when taken out of the bag no matter how long you have them compressed.

I’ve had blankets and pillows stored in one of the Jumbo bags for over a year. No problem with the vacuum seal at all. When I removed a pillow, it sprang right back to size. I just reattached the vacuum to compress the bag again.
ive had blankets and sweaters in the space bags since like march and they are still compressed
recently took out sum blankets and like magic they expanded
my mother in law uses these and they have lasted for i know 5 months so far.
I use the bags all the time for winter/summer storage, camping supplies etc. They stay sealed for a full season when I use them. When you open them again the fluffy stuff will pop right back. But be warned that if you just jam it in the bag don’t expect it all (especially clothing) to come out like it was just pressed. It won’t! So be sure to pack and fold carefully and DON’T over stuff bags.
