  1. im a housekeeper.. i deal with stinky vacuums all the time. you might have mold in the hepa filter or you’re not cleaning the filter well enough. try using febreeze on the filter. make sure theres no dust on it when you spray it though. also, if youre vacuuming up pet hair at all then it will smell a little until you get a new bag. and the smell can cling to the filter. so yeah, try febreeze on the filter or the arm and hammer baking soda in the bag.

  2. I bet you have a dog or dogs. Usually that is the main culprit for stinky vacuums. Either that or you tried to vacuum up something wet?

  3. Somewhere along the line you must have sucked some water in it. Take it to a service center and see what they say.
