Whenever I travel,I pack some of my bulky clothes in those as-seen-on-tv vacuum bags that suck out air from clothes or blankets. But I notice after, it weighs more! why is this??? aside from the bag itself.

It does not. The mass is more concentrated, so it may _seem_ like it weighs more, but it cannot.
Put it on a scale before and after to prove it for yourself. A standard bathroom scale may not be sufficiently precise for this however. A postal scale or a scale with sliding weights would probably do.
