Will my vacuum explode if i use it to suck air out from the storage…

I have heard that the random vacuum could explode if you use it to suck air out from the storage bags! Is this possible or is this just a propaganda so that we would buy different vacuums? Thnx

  1. Your vacuum won’t explode or burn up while being used to suck air out of a bag. The actual load on the motor becomes much less when the air stops flowing, and this means that the motor isn’t working as hard. This is why you hear the speed increase. The motor can easily handle the faster speed and can run even much faster, i.e. without the fan on the shaft the motor will be okay.

  2. Your vacuum won’t explode, however you might burn out the motor if you don’t pay attention to what you are doing. Just be sure to keep one hand on the power switch while you’re sucking the air out of your storage bag and shut the vacuum off just as soon as the bag flattens out.

  3. Your vacuum isn’t going to explode. I’ve never heard of anything so silly. Most vacuums have a safety in their canister’s that automatically open when it can’t suck any more so it doesn’t burn up the motor. I’ve been using Space Bag storage bags for the last 4 years and have yet to damage my vacuum while using them.
