  1. They can crawl back out. I plug the end of the vacuum with a wad of paper towel after I’m done vacuuming so they can’t get out. Works great & I never have to touch those nasty bugs.

  2. Not sure… I think it depends on the spider. One time, I caught a cane spider with the vacuum and it crawled out when i eptyed the container…But when i sucked up the ones with the long legs, it was dead…so I think it depends on the spider.

  3. well ,1st of all what kind of vacuum are we talking about here? is it a car wash vacuum or a simple house one? what kind of spider ? spiderman-like or just a cielling corner spider? you got to be more specific….

  4. Whenever I suck up a spider with a vacuum I find myself awake at night for just a LITTLE bit longer thinking that this might happen!

I usually try to find a really messy spot on the floor to vacuum right after I get the spider. Maybe if I trapped him in the bag/canister and he’s still alive, I can mash him up with more junk that comes through the vacuum!

Eek, I’m getting the heeby jeebies just thinking about it…
