Looking at a Hoover Windtunnel, leaning to bagless but not sure they are as user friendly as advertised. Looks like they would allow more dust in the air.

I used to think that bagless was the way to go, but try emptying one. You have to shake it out, then tap it, and by the time you’re done, you have a mess on the floor all around your garbage can, not to mention the can itself or the air you’re breathing. I say go for the bagged kind.
i went for the bagless… as long as i dont have to buy anything for what i already paid for is fine by me
I am for the bags. A consumer magazine reported that the bagless ones kind of lost cleaning power over time.
No, do not buy the bag less! I have not seen one yet with the cleaning power of the bag cleaners and I have bought them all. I do not want anyone else to make the mistake I did believing the latest bag less is better. It isn’t. Spend the money on the bags. I love my windtunnel (with bags) cleaner.
I have a Panasonic, love it – never has given me any trouble in 10 yrs. It has a bag – that’s ok with me.
Found bagless the best for picking up everything, including pet hair. The bagless one is much hardier than the previous two with bags. The two with bags lost suction and gave up the fight with pet hair.
My bagless cleaner, Henry, effortlessly carries on with whatever I throw at it. It does have the option to use a bag in fact, but life is so much simpler without using one.
