Can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner/vacuum manufacturer whose…

I’m in need of a vacuum, but I don’t want to buy one just to find that when I need bags, belts or filters, I can’t find them. I want to buy something where there will be long-term support of the product.

Any good advice appreciated.

  1. Buy a decent one from a manufacturer that’s been around for a while. Try a store that sells and repairs vacuums. They’ll know who’s reliable for parts. And I’m beginning to feel like a broken record here, but if you buy a good vacuum, you won’t need much in the way of parts. I have one I’ve had for 20 years and it hasn’t needed any parts yet, not even a belt. It’s a Filter Queen, the filters have been the same for at least 40 years and all vacuum stores sell them. Or buy one with a cloth bag and you’ll never need bags.

  2. Dyson, and you won’t need bags, these things really suck too. I mean that in a good way. LOL
