What’s the best home made or inexpensive leather cleaner?

wastingtime need help to clarify doubt about: : What’s the best home made or inexpensive leather cleaner?
I have a pink leather satchel bag that has ball point pen ink and other just plain dirt on it. I haven’t been able to remove the ink with rubbing alcohol or methanol,soap and water,etc.

  1. * Remove stains such as ink by dipping a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and rubbing over the spot. Dry the area with a blow dryer. If the stain remains after drying, apply a thick coat of non-gel, non-oily cuticle remover. Leave on overnight, then wipe off with a damp cloth.

  2. There is no such thing as a good homemade leather cleaner as all the leather cleaners that work are highly tested to do the job they do.

    Ink is difficult and if you have an absorbent leather then it will not clean out no matter what you use.

    A good cheap leather maintenance product that works is called Lazy Leather which is a cleaner and protector in one and is great for handbags. It comes in a 50ml bottle so is cheap to buy and easy to use.
