I’d like to start buying in bulk and freezing chicken, pork chops, beef, etc., but the meat always accumulates ice crystals when I do that, even when I squeeze as much air out as I can. Has anyone tried the Ziploc vacuum freezer bag pump system? Does it work at preventing freezer burn/ice crystals? Thanks!

yes because they do vacuum out the air,
but they don’t 100% prevent the ice crystals

yes they work great. i used to use the reynold brand ones that have the battery operated pump. i can no longer find those bags so now i use the ziploc brand. i use the battery pump with them.
