NYG34 need help to clarify doubt about: : How to clean plastic from a electric stovetop?
I melted a bag of tortillas on the electric stovetop, the same plastic as a bread bag almost, it has no burners on the outside, the stovetop is a completely flat surface with 4 burners inside/underneath. It is an electric stove. It seems as if they are fused together now, how can i get this stuff off completely without damaging it or replacing it?

Spray the area with window cleaner and CAREFULLY scrape the burnt on plastic with a razor blade. The window cleaner is used as a lubricant to help prevent scratches, but you must also be careful not to gouge or scratch the glass- be sure to keep the razor edge clean. This should remove most of it. Use a Mr Clean Magic Eraser (damp) or a non-scratch cleaner to polish off the rest.
Scotch-Brite also makes a kit for this- I’ve never used mine so can’t say how well it works.
