  1. How about using Duck/Duct tape? There wouldn’t be any stitching in the fabric, and therefore, no new holes.
    If we can fix car fenders with it, why shouldn’t we be able to repair vacuum cleaner bags with it?
    At least try it.

  2. You have to "darn" it. Like the old fashion way of repairing socks. A well stocked notions department will have all the supplies you need, and you can probably find "how-to" data on the Internet.,

    Cheater fix is to stretch the the leg of a pair of pantyhose over the bad, securing at top and bottom with zip strips.

  3. easiest way will be to put an iron on patch on it. they are available at most stores in the sewing section. If you don’t want the patch seen, after you take the bag off the machine, turn it inside out and do it that way. you could also check with a vacume shop for a new or used bag

  4. 1st thing came to mind, Duck Tape as a temporary fix until you can get a new bag.
