I sucked some spiders up in the vacuum…?

Spiders are very fragile animals, and there is no doubt in my mind that they are already dead. Just the violent ascent into the vaccuum would have killed them.
They will not emerge again so there is no need to hurry to change the bag! Of course you could if you still feel uncomfortable.

Insects like fleas, even ticks and mites can pull out of the bag this is because they have hard exoskeletons that protect them from damage whent hey get sucked up. Spiders on the otherhand have very soft, fragile bodies, most cellar spiders (actually a common name for them) are very very fragile they have long thin legs and soft tiny little bodies.
They actually have no strength at all and would not be able to climb out of the vaccuum even if they did survive the first ride!

Oh my god they will breed and have babies in the vacuum bag. You need to take the bag out of the vacuum and burn it!!!

I’ve always wondered that too. I imagine they could crawl out, or maybe they smother from all the dust. Oh my, just change the bag to be safe! LOL .. 🙂

They are already dead , the air pressure which sucks them in has killed them.

they will not die. you have to throw away the bag if you are afraid or step on the bag to crush the spider. of freeze it or burnt the bag.

A vacuum has no oxygen so they will die when you are vacuuming and by the time you shut the vacuum off they will be dead so I wouldn’t worry about it.♥

I let someone use mine and they had fleas, the fleas came out… not sure if spiders would but wouldn’t it be worth getting rid of the bag???

I always do that,but they crawl right back out when you aren’t looking.It depends on the size of the spider.If it’s big than it can crawl back out because it’s strong enough to move through the dust in the vacuum,but if it’s tiny it’ll stay in there
