What is the best Bagged vacuum cleaner that’s not too expensive…

Question by violet: What is the best Bagged vacuum cleaner that’s not too expensive and good for picking up cat hair and litter?
I have a bagless Eureka and I just hate it. I don’t like bagless ones to begin with because I think it’s nasty dumping out the dirt, and the dust goes everywhere. My boyfriend got this one for me, and I really didn’t want it. I need a good vacuum for picking up cat hair and cat litter, which the Eureka is terrible at. I have to go over the same area 4 or 5 times to get the litter off the floor. I don’t want the top of the line, but something on the lower end of the price scale. Thank you!

After 10 years of heavy use and abuse, I can only recommend a Dyson.

  1. The Hoover Tempo has gotten a good value rating for years at about $ 65 the problems with it are it’s short hose and it has no brush shut off
If you’re willing to get something a bit more spendy the Eureka Smartvac ($ 120) seems to be a nicely built machine, it’s large tubing provides great airflow, it is a little heavy but it’s a good vacuum for the price

Dealing with hair you may periodically have to clean it off the brushroll
