What is the best kind of vacuum??

My house is tile all over except for the bedrooms I can’t find a good vacuum. I have tried vacuums with and without bags. Every vacuum I buy doesn’t work on the tile it just spits the dirt back out. Or I cant find one that picks up all the dog hair from the carpet. I have two dogs that shed a lot and I baby sit for the brother’s three kids. What kind of vacuum do u have and does it work? Thanks for the help.

  1. Miele – quiet , powerful and last forever. Downside, I don’t think they do bagless versions.

  2. Oreck.

Tried several brand for last 15 years.
Finally settled on Oreck. Love it. Light and powerful.
Cleans better than any other I had before.

  3. I’ve owned many and none compare to my Dyson(pet model)
however it’s around $500,, but worth every penny.

my dyson beats my Kirby hands down ,, not sure what the problem the one person had with theirs but mine does not blow any dust whatsoever and it came with all the attachments including hard floor

  4. They’re pricey, but I recommend a Kirby. We had a Dyson, but they blow dirt all over because they don’t sit down low to the ground at the back. You should have seen the crud the Kirby picked up AFTER we vacuumed with our Dyson. Kirby also comes with a hard-floor attachment, and a shampooing attachment. We have four cats, resulting in lots of cat hair and litter being tracked around, and we absolutely LOVE the Kirby.

  5. Dyson
Best vacuum I have ever owned. Someone said they blow dirt out the back. I have never had that problem when the machine is set on "bare floor". Worth the extra money.

  6. Kriby is good if you are looking to get deep in your carpet its really more of a deep cleaner than a surface cleaner because if you have little things on top of your carpet you have to go over it maybe twice. But it dose pick up pet hair very well. It makes a like a seal along your carpet so the suction is really good however it is very expensive but you can get financing and you can talk them down to about 1100$ even 900$ if you get really lucky. Its worth it beacuse it has a good warranty and it sucks up batter than any other vacuum dose.

  7. I have a Bissell Health Home and I really like it! We have 3 dogs and 4 cats so pet hair is an issue! The Bissell handles it just great! It does well on bare floors also.

They normally run about $250, can find them on sale for $200. 5 year warranty, lifetime belt, well made and easy to use tools also. This machine has multi-cyclonic filtering and sealed HEPA filtration also.

I won’t spend the $ on a Dyson, I’ve seen too many of them come back to the store for issues in just a few months.
