what kind of vacuum cleaner do you have and what make is it?

upright? canister? bagless?
i have an upright bagless right now. i absolutely hate it. especially the bagless part. i’m thinking of getting a canister vac with a bag. we have some bare floor and some carpet. will a canister work?
