Bissel Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum is great! It’s designed especially for cleaning up in a home with pets. It has a special pet hair lifter, 2x cyclonic action, and a HEPA media filter. Also features a bagless, easy empty dirt container, pet turbo brush, and pet contour tools.
I’d recommend a hepa filter bag, and use with any upright.
Get a Dysan. These are expensive at first, but I promise this is the best vacuum and the LAST vacuum you will ever own. I talked my mother into buying one, so we vacuumed the floor with her old one, and then ran over the same spot with the Dysan, and it was amazing how much dirt was left from the old vacuum that the Dysan picked up. They work on dog hair, on carpeted and non carpeted floors (such as wood and laminate or tile).

If you must have a bag-less machine Dyson is the only one to buy. The Dyson DC17 is the best thing to get in a Dyson.
The best vacuums for pets are Simplicity and Riccar. Simplicity and Riccar are the same thing. Find your local Simplicity or Riccar dealer, you won’t be sorry.

Get a round robot vacuum cleaner they will do the work for you and then go back to its battery recharge itself, run it daily for the pet hair and then once in awhile run your normal vacuum cleaner. It works!!
