changing vacuum after treating fleas?

I don’t have alot of money to buy bags and change them after I vacuum. I heard if you put baking soda in the vacuum bag it will kill the fleas after they are in there. I don’t have that many fleas because I don’t have any pets, I think it’s where I have stray dogs that lay on my porch and I brought one in, but I bought the carpet stuff and I vacuumed and threw the bag away. Then I woke up this morning and vacuumed, do I have to throw the bag away or can I keep using the one I got in, like I said I don’t have many fleas and ever since I used to carpet powder I haven’t seen any, but I’m gonna continue vacuuming everyday. I guess I’m just paranoid.

  1. put flea powder in your bag. Do change them if you see live fleas when you are vacuuming, irregardful of the price. Trust me, I have had many cats and many flea seasons.
When you bring stray dogs in, give them a drop of Advantage or other product on their neck when they visit. then, they’re good to go.

  2. 1 pregnant flea can make thousands. When they do not have a source to feed on they do what they do best and spend their starving waking hours procreating. Many tales of dog owners taking the pet with them on vacation to come home to a house infested with fleas. The best defense is to bomb the house. Lay baking soda on all soft surfaces…in and under the sofa too. After the bombing vacuum and dispose of the bag.
