I threw one out in the garbage. The one is only a couple of years old, but HARDLY used. The belts ARE intact and in the correct position. The one spins, BARELY. What is Hoover making these days? JUNK? Anyone with a solution? thanks

you are not servicing them.hoover dont make junk.why dont you remove the beater brush, pop the endcaps off,cut the hair and string from around the bearings, then tip on end, and spray with 3-1 oil and let it settle into the bearing by slowly rocking side to side, then repeating for the other side.while your at it, clean the junk out from the vac chamber where the brush rides, and remove the string and hair from the brush, and then raise for max rpm, then slightly lower.
