    Having paid the full price for Hoover Platinum Q Bags in the past, these were a welcome sight on Amazon. The cost is a fraction of the Hoover brand product and the product is identical in build and quality. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to Hoover Brand Q Bags.

    These bags are made of heavy material similar to the original Hoover bags. They fit perfectly in the vacuum cleaner. Can’t tell any difference in the quality or performance vis a vis Hoover bags. I’ll order them again.

    The genuine Hoover bags for the Platinum upright have writing on them, feel a tad bit heavier, and even might be a tad bit better. These much less expensive bags are just as easy to install in the Platinum as the real deals. There is one problem with buying the genuine Hoover bags though. Since the rather large bags have such a long lifespan between changes, the extended time gives bacteria and mold to grow, announcing their presence with a horrible smell each time the vacuum is used.

    At full price I hate throwing away a perfectly good bag before it is full, despite Mrs. Spudman’s protests about the awful smell. With these cheaper replacement bags, I don’t mind replacing partially filled bags every couple months.
