I have been using these Hoover vacuum bags for as long as I’ve had my Hoover canister type vacuum and have been wonderfully pleased with them. I’m one of those people allergic to practically everything so the filtration system built into these bags is exactly what I need.
My reason for writing a review is so I can give a little more information about this product. Information which was absent from the description on the product page.
First – this bag comes in the standard blue package with the large yellow “S” on the front, while also stating it is the “allergen” type for canister cleaners. If that’s the specific picture you are looking for, this is the correct bag. Unfortunately, the picture on the product page did not indicate this so I just took a chance and jumped into the pool. Fortunately, it was what I wanted.
Second – there are 3 bags in each package. I looked everywhere on the product page and it NEVER told me how many bags I would be getting. This is the standard number contained in this package, but it would have really been nice to have been told that along with the product description.
So, I got exactly the vacuum cleaner bag I was looking for, with the exact quantity of bags I had hoped for. It would have been nice to get that information from the supplier!
*****EDIT*****March 3, 2010 I see that this supplier has posted the picture of the container you will receive when you order this bag. I would like to say thank you very much to them for seeing the need to make consumers aware of exactly which product they are ordering. Well done!

|I CAN VACUUM,
I HAVE SEVERAL ALLERGIES WHICH INCLUDE HOUSE DUST, DUST MITES, AND CAT DANDER. I HAVE TRIED OTHER NAME BRAND VACUUMS WITH THEIR ALLERGEN BAGS AND/OR FILTERS. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO MY OWN VACUUMING OR EVEN BE IN THE SAME ROOM WHILE SOMEONE ELSE WAS VACUUMING, WITHOUT HAVING AN ALLERGY ATTACK, UNTIL I TRIED USING HOOVER TYPE S ALLERGEN VACUUM BAGS. THEY WORK GREAT! EVEN MY DAUGHTER, WITH ALL HER ALLERGIES, WILL ASK IF SHE CAN DO THE VACUUMING FOR ME.

Shipping by Amazon was prompt, and it must be noted that this is a hard-to-find item, so kudos to Amazon!! I hope Amazon continues to stock them, or I make have to stockpile a supply!
In retrospect, had I known that these bags are generally not stocked even where the vacuum cleaner itself is sold, I would have opted for the bagless model!! These bags are also rather pricey!!
