How do I clean really baked on grease off my steel cookware?

Rob need help to clarify doubt about: : How do I clean really baked on grease off my steel cookware?
I have a steel saucepan, kettle, etc. They have gotten really stained and no amount of effort seems to get them clean. I have a gas range which probably doesn’t help.

I have tried baking soda, detergent, scrubbing. Is there some kind of trick to get them shiny again, get the stains off.

It looks really bad, brown.

PS I don’t have a dishwasher.

spray on oven cleaner is a miracle. spray it on, let it sit, scrub. continue until all stains are gone. just rinse really well before you cook in it again.

  1. One can of oven spray, one garbage bag, 12 hours.
Spray cleaner on soiled area of pot , set in garbage bag and tie a knot so no spray gets out. Let sit overnight let the spray do the work. Clean pot in soapy water, it comes out perfectly clean.

  2. I have a stainless steel set of pot and pans and use Cameo cleaner. It’s a aluminum / stainless steel cleaner. That’s what I use and my set of pots and pans are 22 years old. Good luck.
