Replace the bag with a new one. If the vacuum is bagless, just clean out the receptacle.
After this, sprinkle either baking soda or powdered carpet deodorizer on the floor and vacuum this up. Leave the powder in the vacuum.
This will do it.
The carpet deodorizer will work a little better than the baking soda. You can buy carpet deodorizer at just about any grocery store.
