I keep looking at it. The directions basically say "change it" lol. It has some kind of black grippy thing on the top and another on the bottom that I can’t seem to do anything with. OK, so I’m not a genius.
PS, it’s a "Hoover Dual-Purpose Vacuum".

go to the store where they sell vacuums and get a new filter that says "type A" problem solved.
go to hoover.com and look up the manual that will tell you all about the vacuum you have. You will have to navigate the site, and the manual may be in the customer service link,or it may have a direct link for manuals. Write down the model # on your vac. There should be a sticker somewhere on the vac that will give that info. Once you have the manual up, scroll down until you get to "how to change the bag"
