What type of fabric could I make a filter from?

Kevin need help to clarify doubt about: : What type of fabric could I make a filter from?
I have a vacuum cleaner that was originally my grandfathers, and unfortuenatly the fabric bag has begin to get holes in it and spray dust out as it vacuums. I have the ability to sew a new bag but am having difficulty finding any filter-graded fabric to make it out of……(there is no paper bag to replace and never was one) it is an upright hoover from the 1930’s and vacuums better than ANY other vaccum i have tried.

Try doing some research on the type of material that the original bag was made from. I’ve been thinking what kind of material your could use and not one comes to mind even if you can’t find the exact material is was made of before maybe try something super similar. Good luck!
