I have a Hoover that is a little over a year old. I have changed the bag, checked the hoses and cleaned the brush roll. It picks up the bigger crumbs and such but will no longer pick up hair or fuzzies. I have also tried every height setting it has.

Your belt may have stretched or your beater bar may need a good cleaning with a pick. Your hose run could be partially clogged. The height adjustment may be stuck on high. Your filters could be clogged reducing suction. The container could be full.
Is the brush roll actually rolling? – e.g. check the belt
your brushes may be worn and need to be replaced
