I used to have some fab storage bags you put the stuff in, close they had a little plastic slider which you ran accross the top of the bag to make sure they sealed properly and then roll the package which took the air out, but I cant remember the retailer and the only ones i can find now are the ones where you have to use a hoover not much good if your on holiday in a hotel room packing. Does anyone know where i can get some of these storage bags–ones that dont need the use of a hoover??
I’ve used the larger zipper bags (2 gallon) that are sold in stores and did the same thing, but I took a straw in the corner after I zipped it to the end after I pressed most of the air out and sucked the rest of it out. Used one to mail a microfiber raincoat and it was amazing how small that bag was.
